Privacy Policy

By using this website for translation, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Service Architecture

When you register, this site stores your name, email, password hash and registration time, without storing your password in plain text. Google sign-in provides an account identifier, name and verified email; we do not receive your Google password. Account information is used for registration, authentication and session management. Guests can still use public document translation.

Files & Account Data

Guest uploads are handled by the active Husky temporary upload workflow and opened in open-source LibreOffice. Retention time, backups, and deletion rules are determined by the deployment operator. No fixed retention period is promised.

Documents uploaded by free users may be used for website performance testing or translation model training.

Translation & OCR Providers

When translation, OCR, or visual recognition is requested, extracted text or document content may be sent to the model provider enabled for the service. Processing is also subject to that provider's privacy and retention terms.

Cookies

Necessary cookies maintain sign-in sessions and verify sign-in requests. Cookies or local storage may also store theme preferences and guest sessions. User sessions last up to 30 days and are revoked immediately on sign-out. Advertising-related processing is described below under Advertising.

Contact

For deployment-specific privacy details, contact the operator of your Bilin Translate instance or email techsapp@qq.com.

Translation corrections and model training

When guests or registered users edit a translation, we record the source, before and after translations, surrounding passages, language, model and time. Records use pseudonymous identifiers and remain in a restricted backend database for future translation model training; recording does not start training. They are retained separately from temporary uploads and personal glossaries and are not automatically deleted when a guest session ends or a glossary is cleared. Contact the site operator to request deletion.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, browser information and page context to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Non-personalized ads may also use cookies. Where required, the consent message explains your choices. Ad requests from this application do not explicitly include uploaded files or their text; advertising scripts run on the page, so non-personalized advertising does not isolate document content.
